Nope. Ancient Chinese secret! :)
Seriously, it is from the North of the airport shooting directly South
towards the new building. It is scheduled to open next year. When things are
a little bit more finalized, I will take my camera and take some snaps of
the new building. It should be quite nice once it is done.

I left Winnipeg for Vancouver in I think 1993. I guest I wouldn't
recognize the place if I went back.

Winnipeg has changed a lot since then. Some for the better and some not so
much. Still, the new airport terminal and parking/hotels/etc. is a big
change for the airport. The downtown is quite different now as well and you
probably wouldn't recognize the South side of the city because most of it is
largely new and only came into existence within the last few years. The city
has sprawled outwards. Again. Still, it is easy to get around and you can
make it from one end to the other in about 30 to 45 minutes if you use the
Perimeter or the high speed arteries.
I love B.C. and if I could afford it, I'd move out to Victoria I think or
somewhere on Vancouver Island.
Take care,
Nick
